Axiomatic provides a flexible custom design approach that includes a quick turnaround for customers who select standard options. Alternatively, competitive prototyping and effective project management is the hallmark of our "new application" designs.
COLLABORATION
We use disciplined design and collaboration techniques to help select the best control product that will cover the requirments of any machine control application, regardless of difficulty or scope.
Our standard microprocessor-based "off-the-shelf" modules come pre-programmed with application code that will cover a wide range of typical applications. By using Axiomatic's standard products, if a single controller does not have the necessary I/O type and count, two or more controllers could easily be grouped together in a network to meet the application's needs.
However, we recognize the there are thousands of applications that are new, unique, or too complicated, such that no generic product could meet all the needs. For this reason, Axiomatic is a company that specializes not only on off-the-shelf products, but we are also experts at rapid and successful development of new electronic control solutions for OEM requirements.
Axiomatic has two primary ways of meeting custom requirements:
A) Develop custom application code for existing controllers. New software is written and tested to a customer's specification.
B) Design and develop a custom electronic control unit for an OEM application. Hardware (PCB, packaging, etc.) and software (application code, communication code, user interfaces, etc.) are designed and tested to a specification developed jointly between Axiomatic and our customer's engineers or machine designers.
