Inclinometer
|
An inclinometer measures the angles of slope, elevation or inclination of an item with respect to gravity. An accelerometer measures acceleration, inclination and vibration. For precise rotational angle measurement, a resolver element integrated with Axiomatic advanced electronics can measure rotational angle and speed.
Axiomatic's accurate and durable sensors are used worldwide in very harsh environments.
- A measuring range -85...+85 degrees or 360 degrees for a single axis and +-85 degrees for a dual axis version is available. The CAN device fulfills the CiA's device profile for encoders (DS410). Connections to the network are provided with spring-loaded connectors (if PG strain reliefs are used) or 4 military style connectors. The angle sensor is housed in a cast-aluminum casing IP65 (IP67 on request). A wide range of power supply input is accepted (9...35 Vdc).
- The MVRES is designed for use on cranes, lifts, excavators and other machines where precise boom rotational angle positioning is needed. In addition to rotation angle, the MVRES module provides also the angular speed and position data as whole revolutions. The position accuracy is +-0.067 degrees through the whole temperature range of -40 to + 85 degrees Celsius. Compared to traditional optical encoders, the MVRES-CO-V2 provides superb robustness against vibration. As well, the MVRES fulfills CiA's device profile for single turn absolute encoders (DS406 ver 3.1), which makes it a real alternative for an optical encoder. The module consists of a resolver element and integrated interface electronics, which are packed in an IP65 rated housing.
