The isolated current converter accepts a 9 to 45 VDC power supply range (24 VDC nominal). A diagnostic LED indicates power and operational status. The output LED is on when the load, input signal, and power supply are connected and the output LED flashes when the load is disconnected. The load can be floating or grounded. IIC-DR-22 is available in a DIN rail mount housing. As part of a load management strategy for a marine propulsion system, the unit converts a 0-200 mA load signal from a diesel engine control computer to a 4-20 mA signal for a variable pitch propeller control system. Span and zero are user adjustable.
