The 5V power supply, model AX082900, interfaces with a 5 Vdc sensor and takes 12 or 24 Vdc power and converts it to 5 Vdc, 5W. It is non-isolated and has a typical efficiency of 88% at 12 Vdc or 82% at 24 Vdc. There is one optional CAN port that communicates battery charge status. It is housed in a IP67-rated compact, ultrasonic welded enclosure. It is EMI/EMC compliant and operates from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius. Other models for interface with 10V sensors are available, i.e. model AX082910.
The power supply is suitable for application on off-highway equipment, fire trucks and municipal vehicles, and military vehicles.
Protections include reverse battery, over- and under-voltage, short circuit, and overcurrent protection.
