The AX140180 CAN-Repeater acts as a gateway or interface between multiple CAN buses. The CAN ports and power ports are galvanically isolated from each other with 500 VDC isolation. AX140180 features an isolated SAE J1939 CAN port for configuration and a CAN 2.0A/2.0B port that supports data frames and remote frames with standard and extended IDs.
The AX140180 CAN-Repeater operates with a power supply input of 12 or 24 VDC nominal (9 to 36 VDC), provides an isolated output supply voltage of 24 VDC nominal (9 to 36 VDC), and provides an output current of 100 mA. AX140180 is user configurable using the Axiomatic Electronic Assistant, P/N: AX070502 or P/N: AX070506K.

The AX140180 module features an IP67-rated enclosure, resistant against dust and water exposure, and is compliant with the standard EN50155. The EN50155 compliance standard ensures that the AX140180 CAN-Repeater device is suitable for railway equipment applications.
If you require AX140180 to be compliant with the EN45545-2 standard, check if a flammable part is located near the installation to meet dropping rules.
