LIN/CAN converters facilitate bidirectional data exchange between a LIN network and a CAN network and generate one PWM output signal. The AX140610 converter supports SAE J1939 protocol while the AX140611 converter supports CANopen® protocol. Both modules comply with LIN 2.2A specification and can be configured as Master or Slave.

The AX140610 supports 75 LIN Signals, 25 LIN Unconditional Frames, 25 CAN Receive messages, and 25 CAN Transmit messages. The device features auto-baud-rate detection for CAN and can be configured using the Axiomatic Electronic Assistant, P/N: AX070506K.

The LIN/CAN converters can operate with 12 or 24 VDC battery power supply (9 to 32 VDC). They are protected against surge, transients, reverse polarity, over-voltage, and under-voltage faults. These devices come in compact, IP67-rated enclosures that can withstand dust and water exposure. The converters can be used in a variety of applications including, but not limited to, off-highway and agricultural equipment and commercial trucks.
