Axiomatic Universal Signal Input CAN Controllers are smart controllers with programmable internal logic. AX030530 and AX031700 interface with a SAE J1939 CAN bus network and are configurable using the Axiomatic Electronic assistant, P/N: AX070506K. AX031701 interfaces with a CANopen® network and is configurable using standard CANopen® tools.
AX031701 — 1 Universal Signal Input CAN Controller, CANopen®, Compact
The universal signal input in models AX031700 or AX031701 is user selectable as: Voltage (0-5 V, 0-10 V); Current (0-20 mA, 4-20 mA); Frequency (0.5 Hz to 10 kHz); PWM (0.5 Hz to 10 kHz); or Digital (active high/active low). In model AX030530, additional signal input choices include 0-1 V, 0-2.5 V, or resistive input of 20 Ω to 250 kΩ (auto range or user selectable ranges).
AX031700 and AX031701 accept 12 or 24 VDC nominal power from a battery or other power source and are built with a nylon 66 and ultrasonically welded enclosure with an integral 6-pin TE Deutsch equivalent connector.
AX030530 accepts 9 to 60 VDC power and is built with a rugged, encapsulated, painted aluminum enclosure with mounting holes and an integral 8-pin TE Deutsch connector.

AX031700 and AX031701 feature CE / UKCA markings and comply with EMI/EMC standards.
