The 8 Channel RTD Module, AX180300, anchors a family of Pt100 and Pt1000 interface devices for accurate genset engine temperature monitoring over CAN bus. The scanner monitors 8 Pt100 inputs from a diesel engine and automatically provides temperature data to the engine control system over an SAE J1939 CAN bus when power is applied; no additional programming or configuration required. The controller supports 2-wire or 3-wire RTD sensors and the RTD inputs are isolated from the CAN communication and power supply. The controller features auto-baud-rate detection and is user configurable using the Axiomatic Electronic Assistant, P/N: AX070506K.
AX180300 — 8 Channel RTD Scanner, SAE J1939
The RTD Scanner requires a power supply of 12 or 24 VDC nominal (8 to 65 VDC). AX180300 features EMC compliance and Marine Type Approvals for ABS, BV, CCS, DNV, LR, and RINA. The module is enclosed in a rugged, IP67-rated housing with stainless steel end plates and neoprene gaskets.
