The 4 Inputs, 8 Proportional Output Controllers accept four universal command signal inputs as voltage (0-5 V, 0-10 V), current (0-20 mA, 4-20 mA), resistive (up to 250 kΩ), frequency/PWM (0-10 kHz), or digital types from sensors, joysticks, switches, or push-buttons. The valve controllers provide 8 proportional outputs capable of 3 A of driving actuators, hydraulic valves, or motors and feature high or low side driving. Operating with machine battery power, the controllers accept 8 to 65 VDC (12, 24, or 48 VDC nominal). The units are designed for harsh environments with an IP67 rating and operate from -40 to 85 °C (-40 to 185 °F). The controllers can be applied on off-highway machines in distributed valve control CAN networked work functions. The controllers interface with two SAE J1939 CAN networks and utilize a Wake-on-CAN function to save on power. Configuration of the controllers is via standard CAN interface tools.
