Fiber Optic to CAN Modules

The Fiber Optic (FO) to CAN Modules act as a bridge for CAN network extension over distance and are suited for lift, utility, and heavy equipment. The modules operate at 12 or 24 V nominal (8 to 36 V), feature one SAE J1939 CAN port with auto-baud-rate detection, and are configurable over CAN using the Axiomatic Electronic Assistant KIT (sold separately). The FO-CAN modules are designed with LED indicators for easy monitoring of internal activity. Isolation between FO and CAN is inherent to the design of the devices. The units come in a vented IP20 enclosure with two IP54 Fiber Optic connectors, two 4-pin spring clamp connectors, and a DIN rail.
