The Automotive Ethernet Converters in the category provide purely physical, bi-directional conversions between Automotive Ethernet, Ethernet, CAN, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth® networks via PHY transceivers. Automotive Ethernet networks use a 2 wire, twisted pair cable saving on cabling costs for the machine builder. The Automotive Ethernet to Ethernet converters support baud rates of up to 1000 Mbit/s depending on the model. The Automotive Ethernet to CAN converter operates with a CAN 2.0B port and communicates via SAE J1939 protocol. The Automotive Ethernet to CAN devices feature auto-baud-rate detection in addition to surge, reverse polarity, input overvoltage, and input undervoltage protections. The Automotive Ethernet to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® converter provides 1 Automotive Ethernet port, 1 CAN 2.0A/2.0B port, 1 external Bluetooth® antenna, and 2 external Wi-Fi antennas. The converter features a user programmable functionality using the CAN2BLE Configuration Application. The devices are IP67 rated.
