LVDT and LVDT/RVDT Simulators, DIN Rail Mount
Axiomatic features 2 separate LVDT Simulator types, an LVDT/RVDT Simulator series and a new Precision LVDT Signal Conditioner. The LVDT and LVDT/RVDT Simulators have 2 fully isolated simulation outputs with output A increasing from 1-5 VAC and output B decreasing from 5-1 VAC. The LVDT modules accept a power supply voltage of 4 to 32 VDC and feature a DIN rail mount enclosure.
The LVDT/RVDT Simulators are used to test LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) or RVDT (Rotary Variable Differential Transformer) sensors. Using a 0- 10 VDC command signal input and an excitation (drive input), the unit provides 2 full isolated simulation outputs. An internal 3 kHz oscillator can be used as an alternative excitation source. Factory settings for the offset (minimum) and span (maximum) are user adjustable. Different models provide different settling times and phase differences between inputs and outputs.
The Precision LVDT Signal Conditioner simulates an LVDT signal with high precision via FPGA technology. The signal conditioner generates 2 isolated LVDT simulation outputs and an additional reference output. The LVDT Signal Conditioner interfaces with a CAN network, with Ethernet TCP/IP and USB-C interfacing pending. Currently, the Precision LVDT Simulator is user configurable via the Axiomatic Electronic Assistant with a web interface configuration feature pending. The unit enclosure features a DIN rail mount and a protection rating of IP20.
