Ethernet/CAN Converters
The Ethernet/CAN converters operate as simple data converters capable of handling communication between CAN bus and Ethernet IEEE 802.3, IP ICMP, ARP, UDP, TCP, HTTP or proprietary protocols. They can interface with SAE J1939, CANopen®, or CAN FD (Flexible Data-rate) depending on the model of the device. Communication can occur in both directions. The Ethernet port can communication up to 100 Mbps. The CAN port has overcurrent protection that triggers at 1A and can support high speed CAN with a baud rate of up to 1 Mbps. The Protocol Converters are IP67 rated and suitable for harsh operating environments.
