The AX143030 Fiber Optic (FO) to CAN module act as a converter or a bridge and is best suited for power generator set and engine control systems. The module operates at 12 or 24 VDC nominal (8 to 36 VDC) and provides 2-way, 300 Vrms isolation for FO and CAN. This module features 2 LED indicators for FO status. The green LED indicates a connected status. The red LED indicates a disconnected/not working status. AX143030 communicates through CAN (SAE J1939) with a baud rate of 250 kbit/s. This unit is configurable via RS-232, rated IP20, and is enclosed in a DIN rail housing.
