DC to DC Converters with CAN
The DC to DC Converters with CAN are isolated 24 VDC to 24 VDC converters with an isolated CAN port and a regulated output of 24 VDC and 15 A with a typical efficiency of 94%. The converters operate with a power supply voltage of 10 to 40 VDC (24 VDC nominal) and provide a 350 W output power. The CAN bus connection allows for real time diagnostics, controlled shutdowns, and other helpful features. The output current limit can be set through CAN or set to vary with the measured input voltage and input/output voltage feedback is measured (can be sent over CAN bus). The DC to DC converters with CAN are user configurable using standard CAN tools (not provided). The converters feature an enable pin to turn the output on/off and a Wake-on-CAN functionality that can be used to reduce power consumption. The enable pin features a user configurable de-glitch time to keep the output on for a set amount of time after the enable pin is turned off. The power converters with CAN feature over-current, short-circuit, over-temperature, reverse polarity, and over/under-voltage protections. The units are designed for EMI/EMC compliance and are enclosed in a sealed, anodized, IP67-rated housing for operation under the most harsh and demanding conditions.
