The AX130410 controller simulates an LVDT signal with high precision for use in various industrial applications. High precision is achieved by the use of FPGA technology. The signal conditioner interfaces with a CAN network to provide command messages and generates 2 isolated LVDT simulation outputs of 1-5 VAC. Additionally, a reference output is featured at 3 VAC +/- 5%. A power supply voltage of 12 or 24 VDC nominal (4 to 32 VDC) is necessary for use of the AX130410 Isolated Precision LVDT Simulator. Based on the command message, output voltage A increases from 1 to 5 VAC and the output voltage B decreases from 5 to 1 VAC. Short circuit protection is provided. The AX130410 controller interfaces with an SAE J1939 CAN network, with Ethernet TCP/IP and USB-C interfacing pending. Currently, the Precision LVDT Simulator is user configurable via the Axiomatic Electronic Assistant with a web interface configuration feature pending. The unit enclosure features a DIN rail mount and a protection rating of IP20.
