The 4 Universal Signal Outputs CAN Controller can extend machine control networks by adding outputs to the CAN bus. Engine control systems with SAE J1939 can communicate with other signal input devices using this controller as a smart interface. The controller can be configured to suit the specific application using CAN interface. The user can select outputs from these choice: 0-5V, 0-10V, +/-5V, +/-10V, 0-20mA, 4-20mA, +/-20mA, frequency, or PWM.

The controller belongs to a family of Axiomatic smart controllers with programmable internal architecture. This provides users with flexibility, allowing them to build their own custom controller with a required functionality from a set of predefined internal functional blocks using the Axiomatic Electronic Assistant. Application programming is performed through the CAN interface.
