The AX141121 RTC module accepts time and date information with a Real-Time-Clock (RTC) battery backup, has one universal signal input, and two CANopen® ports. The RTC controller is user configurable using standard CANopen® tools (not supplied). Additionally, an EDS file is provided. An input voltage of 12, 24, or 48 VDC nominal (8-90 VDC) is necessary for operation. The universal input can interface with one command signal (voltage, current, frequency/PWM, or digital) or serve as a “clock synchronization” trigger. The RTC date and time can only be set when the input is triggered. The battery backup permits 15 years of operation. The AX141121 RTC controller is a compact, IP67 rated, ruggedly packaged unit for harsh operating environments with heavy equipment and industrial cranes.
