AX141530K provides one AX141530 Automotive Ethernet/CAN converter, one AX070532 cable, and one AX070534 cable.
The AX070532 cable is 2 m (6.5 ft) with unterminated leads and features a 5-pin, M12, A-coded connector. The AX070534 cable is 2 m (6.56 ft) with unterminated leads and features a 4-pin, M12, D-coded connector. The cables are mating accessories for the AX141530 connectors. The AX070532 cable mates with the CAN connector and the AX070534 cable mates with the Automotive Ethernet connector.
The AX141530 Automotive Ethernet to CAN Protocol Converter provides a purely physical, bi-directional conversion between Automotive Ethernet (100 Mbit/s) and CAN 2.0B (up to 1 Mbit/s) via PHY transceivers. Status LEDs provide information on the connection link and communication. A 700 mA output is available to power another device downstream on the system. The converter is configurable as Master or Slave functionality via an internal web server interface using an Automotive Ethernet/Ethernet Converter, AX141550, or a similar device to access Ethernet, which links to the web server. Slave mode is the default setting. As a comparison, regular Ethernet converters rely on auto-negotiation to determine Master/Slave functionality.
