The AX140321 Protocol Converter is a gateway between one SAE J1939 CAN port, one CANopen® port, and one Modbus RTU port. The protocol converter operates from a 12 VDC or 24 VDC nominal input power (9 to 36 VDC). The converter provides isolation only to the CAN bus ports (300 Vrms). AX140321 is user configurable via the Axiomatic Electronic Assistant. An EDS file is provided to interface with standard CANopen® tools. The units are fully sealed, compact, and rated IP67. The CAN to Modbus RTU converter is suitable for applications such as mobile/off-highway equipment, transport vehicles, and power genset control systems.
