The AX081220 48 VDC/24 VDC, 600 W Isolated DC-DC Converter provides clean 24 VDC power for vehicle electronics, instrumentation, radios and other control equipment. Power from a battery or other source at 48 VDC nominal (36 to 60 VDC) is converted to a 24 VDC output regulated to 3% for a 25 Amp load. Isolation of the input and output is provided. For operation under the most harsh and demanding conditions, the power supply converter is sealed and enclosed to protect against moisture, shock and vibration. The unit is designed with extremely rugged transient suppression and short-circuit and reverse polarity protections in addition to over/under voltage protection. With a nameplate rating/output power of 600 Watts (600 VA nominal), the DC/DC converter has efficiency rated at 93%.
