The AX141620 9 CAN, 1 Ethernet Isolator/Router comes pre-programmed with standard protocol conversion logic for bi-directional data exchange between CAN buses, RS-485, and Ethernet. The CAN/Ethernet isolator/router has a total of 10 communication ports; 6 powered CAN ports, 1 power control CAN port, 1 unpowered CAN port, 1 unpowered CAN / J1587 / J1708 / RS-485 port, and 1 Ethernet port. This isolator and/or router has a configurable CAN baud rate, configurable termination resistor, and the isolator/router itself can be configured as a switch to broadcast messages on all ports. The isolator/router can be configured via the Axiomatic Electronic Assistant. The CAN/Ethernet Isolator/Router operates from 9 to 36 VDC at 12 or 24 VDC nominal. The isolator/router provides 3-way isolation between the power supply, the microcontroller, and each CAN port.

The AX141620 isolator/router complies with the standards for EMC and RoHS directives. The unit is fully sealed with a rugged IP67 protection rating ensuring that the router/isolator is well qualified for harsh environments. The 9 CAN, 1 Ethernet Isolator/Router is suitable for vehicles and machines with multiple CAN bus networks including, but not limited to, agricultural, construction, and mining machines and/or vehicles.
